Abstract
This paper attempts to resit archaeologycal and numismatics data in order to establish reliable references that make possible a proper understanding of the historical development of Alarcos. The study is twofold: the coinage is first considered within its archaeologycal context, and then an approach to the monetary circulation knowledge is made.
