I studied Sea Sciences degree and Acoustic Engineering Master degree in the University of Cadiz. I began my professional career researching as “Acoustic Action Manager” in the Life Project “Conservation of cetacean and turtles in Murcia and Andalucía waters” with the University of Cadiz, Spain, since 2002. After researching as technician for nearly four years, I became an independent consultant in acoustic, noise, and underwater sound. In 2008, I left the underwater field to work as engienier in “Ingenieria de Acústica y Servicios” company from Seville (Spain), as a Project Manager in “Gestión Medioambiental y Acústica, ACUS-G” company in Bilbao (Spain) and the last following four years as freelance consultor, developing underwater acoustic studies again. Since 1st of January of 2019, I work as underwater acoustic technician at the Marine Research Institute (INMAR, Acoustic Engineering Laboratory) of the University of Cadiz
