Resumen

El artículo estudia el discreto nivel de emprendimiento femenino en España y sus aspectos diferenciales. Incluye un análisis de las características generales de la actividad emprendedora femenina, agrupándolas en factores contextuales, demográficos y de percepción. Además, profundiza en aquellos que impulsan o frenan el desarrollo de la actividad emprendedora femenina: las redes sociales, el acceso a financiación y el marco institucional de apoyo a la actividad emprendedora. Por último, sugiere una serie de recomendaciones específicas para corregir las principales carencias y explotar las oportunidades del emprendimiento femenino en España
