Abstract
This paper shows the results of a research project carried out to know teachers� attitudes to equality in educational contexts. We also have tried to measure teachers� degree of predisposition to co-education. We use a survey methodology by applying an attitude scale. The sample comprises 113 teachers from 5 Public Colleges in Seville. The results show very positive attitudes towards equality. This tendency is stronger among female teachers. However, we can observe some results that reveal the need of policy measures and teacher training on gender equality.
