Abstract

In this article we will analyse some roman pottery from the archaeological excavations made in the San Romualdo Castle and its surroundings. As well, we will study other ceramic evidences from the Zuazo Bridge and the site of C/ Albardonero 24. With those archaeological data we give a new vision of the Vía Augusta in San Fernando, relating this information with the mansio ad pontem mentioned by the Itinerario Antonino. We will also show new archaeological evidences and points of view about the Vía Heraclea from Gades to Sancti Petri.
