Abstract
Since the beginning of the ethnoarchaeological studies to practically the presentone, the hypothesis has been maintained that the settled groups in the southwestpeninsular corresponded to fixed factors: language, material culture, social structure, etc. However, the emergence of new anthropological theories, such as the Polithetic Theory, make this hypothesis rethink to more flexible and permeable models in which areintermixed identity models, such as hierarchy, sex or manners, leading to a rethinking ofthe economic models of some settlements located in the southwest of the IberianPeninsula.
