Abstract
Occasionally, the documentary sources found provide the historian with suspicions and clues whose interpretation and contextualisation help to reveal the foundations of histori-cal processes. In this way, we will analyse an interesting and unpublished document which, although it is a brief sale of paintings, helps to outline the behaviour of the model of the bourgeois art collector developed in Spain during the disentailment process of 1835
