Olympe Audouard (1832-1890) was a French writer who developed her literary career during the second half of the 19th century. Woman of letters and a journalist, Olympe Audouard played a decisive role in defending women's rights through feminism and combative feminism. Committed to the female cause, she fought for the emancipation of women and the right to divorce.
