Abstract

Nowadays, educational games are considered as a viable methodology to develop problem-solving teaching strategies. Indeed, educational escape rooms are considered as a valuable resource by many authors in literature. However, there is no summary or study that analyses the most significant achievements accomplished with this new methodology. The aim of the present work is to summarize, analyses, discuss and spread the educational escape room-related literature, stablishing a starting point for future research.
