Abstract
This research arises from the need to dialogue with Early Childhood Education teachers about their educational reality, as well as listening to their proposals for improvement on the inclusion of gender diversity. We start from the premise that all human beings have the right to be respected and welcomed, in their diversity and options. By means of a focus group dialogue with teachers, they discussed their vision about education in gender diversity. Among the various conclusions, it is reflected that the teaching staff recognizes their scarce training on the subject. In the light of the data obtained, the pressure from families and the questioning of their professionalism when working on gender diversity in their classrooms is perceived, and they receive attacks on their profession when working on this subject. We consider it necessary to conclude with proposals for practical educational strategies that facilitate the full inclusion of sex and gender diversity.
