Abstract
This paper presents a historiographical review of all the publications that study thin-walled ceramics in the Hispano-Roman city of Baelo Claudia. It consists of a synthesis with which to situate this production within the environment and how its study has evolved from the beginning of the 20th century to the present day. This type of pottery began by being related to funerary environments due to its location in necropolises, this paradigm changed with the passing of time, and with the passing of time it became part of the so-called tableware.
