María A. Ribón is a Permanent Labor Professor in the Sociology Area of the University of Cádiz. She is a member of the research group Transformations and Conflicts in Contemporary Societies (SEJ-657 of PAIDI). She has participated in various projects on unionism and social movements. Currently, she works on the relationships between unionism and social movements, the contribution of these relationships to social change, democracy and the support of micro-utopias in a financialized society.
