Doctor by the Universidad de Cádiz with the thesis Urbs iulia gaditana. El urbanismo de gades a través de su registro arqueológico. Análisis y propuesta interpretativa 2016. Supervised by Dr. Darío Bernal Casasola.

Since the beginning of his research career, he has participated regularly in research projects related to the archaeology of the territory and economy of the Roman world. All this has been possible largely due to her membership of the research group HUM-440, El Círculo del Estrecho. Archaeological and archaeometric study of societies from Prehistory to Late Antiquity; she has collaborated since 2006 as a student and since 2008 as a research member. The line of research has focused on the documentation, study and analysis of ancient cities and their territory, mainly on the morphology of the urban structure and its evolution in the South Hispanic territory, as well as its economic history. The work has been carried out within the framework of the Doctoral Thesis Urbs Iulia Gaditana. The urban planning of Gades through its archaeological record. Analysis and interpretative proposal, which was defended on 19 December 2016, obtaining the highest qualification (Excellent Cum Laude) and accredited with the European Mention. The Doctoral Thesis has been developed within the framework of a Predoctoral Scholarship for the Training of Research Staff granted by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness attached to the University of Cadiz for four years. In addition, numerous studies have been carried out in the city of Baelo Claudia and on the African shore of the Strait of Gibraltar, mainly in Tamuda. The international character of the research is not only linked to the participation in research projects, but has been substantially enriched by the research stays that have been developed throughout the pre-doctoral training. These include the Spanish School of History and Archaeology in Rome, the University of Oxford, the University of Florence, the University of Lisbon, and the Abdelmalek Essaadi University in Morocco. These stays have been recently completed with other postdoctoral stays at the Soprintendenza Speciale per il Colosseo e l'area archeologica centrale di Roma and at the Università di Roma "La Sapienza". She has taught on the Bachelor's Degree in History and the Bachelor's Degree in Humanities, as well as on various master's degrees since 2013.
