Doctor by the Universidad de Cádiz with the thesis Estudio de las técnicas físicas idóneas para la intervención que minimicen el riesgo de lesiones en una detención policial. Sistemas monitorizados 2019. Supervised by Dr. José Antonio Lorente Acosta, Dr. Francisco Fernández Zacarías.

The Professor is associated with the area of Forensic Medicine at the University of Cádiz. Currently, he serves as the Study Coordinator at the Public Safety School of the City Council of Cádiz (ESPAC), which is constituted as a specialized and decentralized body, without its own legal personality. Among his responsibilities is the management of the School's services and the supervision of the staff assigned to it. Furthermore, he works as a Seminar Leader in the area of Police Technology at the Public Safety School of the City Council of Cádiz from 2007 to 2022, where he has provided training in the use and maintenance of specific technical equipment for police work, as well as in the physical and technical training necessary to perform their duties and protect the public. He has also held the position of Manager of the Municipal Women's Foundation of the City Council of Cádiz between 2018 and 2022, and is a member of the research group TEP-955 "Engineering and Technology for Occupational Risk Prevention" at the University of Cádiz. He has carried out management, coordination, and teaching duties in various university expert programs and continuing education at the University of Cádiz, as well as in the training of police officers in different public administrations and unions at national and international levels. Additionally, he has had the honor of supervising doctoral theses, such as that of the doctoral candidate D. Villero Carro, Domingo, at the Superior School of Engineering UCA, and that of the doctoral candidate D. Joel Herrera Iturat at the Doctoral School of the Universitat Jaume I in Spain. Another of his roles has been as co-director in the Master's Thesis of the student Xavier Vázquez Ruiz in the University Master's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety: Occupational Risk Prevention of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, with a focus on ergonomics in the police field. Previously, he was a Local Police Officer for the City Councils of Cádiz and Jerez de la Frontera from 1996 until February 2018. Additionally, he is currently the President of the School for Violence Prevention Association (EPV), registered with number 11432 in the associations register of Andalusia. Since April 2014 and to date, they have been promoting Research, Development, and Innovation (R&D&I) activities with international connections. The EPV association has teaching collaboration agreements with the University of Cádiz and the International University of Valencia for student internships.
