Résumé

This research makes a historical approach to the industrial, wineand cultural heritage represented in Jerez de la Frontera by itscentenary bottle factory. Founded in 1895 with the French capitalof the Bocuze family, this factory has evolved throughout the20th century, parallel to the powerful and unique Sherry industry.In favor of Jerez and the University of Cádiz, the companyVerallia España, heir to the historic Saint-Gobain Vicasa company,gave in 2016 a heritage legacy –consisting of historicaldocumentation, industrial plans and a collection of bottles andmolds- that the Institute IVAGRO of the University Campus ofJerez conserves and safeguards, and actually represents a partof the history and the industrial, commercial and social heritageof our city.
