Abstract

This work is an approach to the projects we are developing in the extreme south of the Iberian Peninsula on funerary practices of recent prehistory. Specifically, we present a series of data from three important archaeological sites to understand the evolution of megalithic constructions: Campo de Hockey (San Fernando, Cádiz), La Lentejuela (Teba, Málaga) and the necropolis of Trafalgar (Barbate, Cádiz). The description of the architectures, the spatial organization of the necropolis, the bioarchaeological analysis and the characterization of the grave goods help to deepen the knowledge of the megalithic societies.
