Abstract

We set out present state of the knowledge of thc occupation human of the Atlantic Seaside of Cádiz byhunter-gatherers comm.unities. We present our conceptual frame of labour from the theoretical positions of"Social Archaeology". We analyse the history of the investigations and set out the historical process of developmentof the technology related to the fauna and the kind of geological deposits. The geomorphology of the sertingsand the petrology of the carved lithic products are valucd, av;mcing ideas about their origin and provenance. Withthese basis we set out the transition process of the technology of the hunter-gatherers communities that hauntthis geographic media, from the begining of its population until the developed technology of specialized huntersgroups.
