Doctor by the Universidad de Cádiz with the thesis La recepción de la obra literaria de Irmgard Keun 2002. Supervised by Dr. Ana Pérez López.

I am a Senior Lecturer at the University of Cádiz (Spain) and a researcher with a strong focus on educational design, foreign language teaching, and technology-enhanced learning. My work is dedicated to exploring how emerging technologies—particularly Extended Reality (XR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI)—can be meaningfully integrated into educational contexts to support and transform teaching and learning. I have authored numerous publications in these areas and contributed extensively to the creation of digital and immersive learning resources. Since 2014, I have been an active member of the Software Process Improvement and Formal Methods (SP&FM) research group at the University of Cádiz. Throughout my career, I have participated in a range of national and international research and educational innovation projects, collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to advance pedagogical practices in technologically enriched environments.
