Assistant Lecturer and PhD candidate in International Public Law and European Union Law, University of Cadiz. Academic Coordinator and Research Member of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence "Migration and Human Rights at the External Borders of Europe", directed by Dr. Alejandro del Valle Gálvez. Coordinator of the Jean Monnet Module "Identity and European Values in the External Borders: Russia and the EU neighbourhood. From the Baltic to the Mediterranean (EUBALMED)" (2022-2025). Member of the Research Group "Centro de Estudios Internacionales y Europeos del Área del Estrecho" -SEJ 572-, of the Andalusian Research Plan, directed by Dr. Alejandro del Valle Gálvez. Graduate in Law and two Master's Degrees: Master's Degree in Law (University of Cadiz) and Master's Degree in International and European Studies (University of Granada). Lecturer in the Official Bilingual Master's Degree in International Relations and Migration at the University of Cadiz, in subjects related to Public International Law and European Union Law, Migration and Borders, Asylum and Refugee Law and International Human Rights Law. Recent publications address the externalisation of EU border controls and the management of migration and asylum through cooperation with third states.
