José Miguel Mestre is a Professor at the University of Cádiz in Spain. He is affiliated with the Department of Psychology and the Institute for Sustainable Social Development (INDESS). His research area is Basic Psychology, and he is part of the HUM1010 Neuropsychology and Experimental Psychology research group. He earned his doctorate from the University of Cádiz in 2003 with a thesis on the empirical validation of a scale to measure emotional intelligence.
