Doctor by the Universidad de Cádiz with the thesis Método de aprendizaje matemático de cálculo abierto basado en números (abn) como alternativa al método cerrado basado en cifras (cbc) 2017. Supervised by Dr. Manuel Aguilar Villagrán, Dr. Manuel Antonio García Sedeño.

PhD in Health Sciences, Education and Psychology from the University of Cadiz in 2017. Degree in Special Education Teaching, Degree in Psychopedagogy and Master's Degree in Psychological Intervention in risk contexts. Currently, I worked as an interim substitute teacher in the Faculty of Education Sciences, within the area of Developmental and Educational Psychology. Now, I work as a PAD and I teach on the Bachelor's Degrees in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education and Psychology. In 2021, I was hired as research staff in the Department of Psychology. I belong to the research group HUM-634 (https://hum634.uca.es/) since 2017 and I participate as a member of the research team in national and regional projects. Since 2013 I have been a professor in teacher training centers for teachers in public, private and state-subsidized education. In 2012 I participated in a European exchange programme at the University of Tampere, Finland, and in 2014 at the University of Concepción in Chile, for the analysis of mathematical learning methodologies. From 2003 to 2011, I worked as a teacher of therapeutic pedagogy and psychopedagogist in private institutions. Since 2015 I have participated as a speaker in a large number of national and international conferences. My main line of research is the study of the cognitive processes involved in mathematical learning, learning difficulties, educational gamification and the use of alternative methodologies for teaching mathematics, as well as the design of educational PPPs following the guidelines of the open number-based methodology (ABN). I have recently received training on the implementation of educational robotics.
