Resumen
The project presents the importance of the integration of experimental sciences for archaeological study. Through a selection of the most relevant sites for the understanding of certain sectors of the Roman city -some of dubious nature and undetermined chronological sequence-, with contexts ascribed to waste from diverse nature such as exploitation systems, as well as The distribution and commercialization of the products, is intended to make an archaeological and archaeological characterization of the archaeological testimonies documented in the selected interventions. In this way, the typology of the discharges and the chronology could be determined and, with it, to know the productive activities, the origin and the relation with the surrounding space. The functional characterization of the material contexts of the selected interventions that until now are totally unknown to the scientific community, allows a substantial advance about the knowledge of urbanism, economics and trade of the recognized and praised Gades.
