PONCE GONZALEZ

Assistant Professor (Profesor Ayudante Doctor) in the Department of Research Methods and Diagnosis in Education (MIDE) at the University of Cádiz. PhD in Educational Sciences from the University of Granada (2017), holding a Bachelor's in Psychopedagogy and a Master's in Migratory Studies and Social Intervention. His academic background is supported by prestigious competitive grants, including the Mexican Government Excellence Scholarship, and international research stays (Mexico, 38 months). His research career focuses on the Evaluation of Socio-educational Programs, developed through two interconnected lines: 1) Learning-oriented assessment in Higher Education, participating in National R&D projects (FLOASS and VALEFLOASS); and 2) Inclusive and Intercultural Education Assessment, focusing on refugee students and Emotional Intelligence. He is a member of the EVALfor Research Group (SEJ-509) and the UNESCO Chair in Evaluation. His scientific production is characterized by its high impact, methodological rigor, and full alignment with the standards of higher education quality assurance agencies. He has published articles in top-tier indexed journals (JCR, SJR) and numerous book chapters in first-quartile academic publishers (SPI Q1, including Octaedro—CEA-APQ Quality Seal—and Dykinson). He also maintains a strong commitment to Open Science. In terms of teaching, he has extensive experience, having delivered 176.42 ECTS credits across Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Regarding scientific management, he has actively participated in the organizing committees of leading international conferences (EARLI SIG 1&4 Joint Conference 2022 and EVALtrends 2020). He is a member of excellence networks (EERA, AIDIPE) and acts as a peer reviewer for high-impact journals (e.g., RIE).
